The Role of This Office
Melbourne is the global headquarters of 3Rive Technologies. The Australian group entity is the contracting entity for all client engagements across the group under 3Rive’s Terms of Service. The Melbourne office holds the group risk register and approves the information security management system operated at the Colombo delivery centre. Commercial, advisory and client leadership functions for the Australian and New Zealand market are based here.
What This Office Does
Client Leadership for Australia and New Zealand
Engagements with Australian and New Zealand law firms are led from Melbourne, including scoping, commercial terms and ongoing service governance.
Advisory and AI Strategy
Technology advisory, build-versus-buy assessments and legal AI strategy work for local firms are run from this office, drawing on delivery capacity in Colombo.
Group Governance
The group risk register, the information security policy set and ISMS approval sit with the Australian entity, while the certified ISMS itself is operated in Colombo.
Contracting
Every client engagement in the group is contracted through the Australian entity, whichever office leads the relationship day to day.

Credentials
3Rive Technologies was founded in 2015. The Sri Lankan entity holds ISO/IEC 27001 certification for the information security management system operated at the Colombo delivery centre, and it is the only 3Rive entity within that certified scope. The Melbourne entity owns the group risk register and approves the ISMS, and sits outside the certified scope. Because delivery for engagements contracted by the Australian entity is performed by the certified Colombo entity, client working data sits inside the certified scope. 3Rive is a Registered Partner in the Anthropic Claude Partner Network. 3Rive was a British Legal Technology Awards 2023 Alliance of the Year finalist, jointly with Clyde & Co.
